Built From Experience. Driven by Precision.
From an idea to a finished part, we build solutions that work

How it Started
Rawx Precision Machine was founded in Placerville, California by Zach Cherrington, the oldest of three brothers, with roots in custom fabrication and off-road vehicle building.
Located near the Rubicon Trail, we started by building suspension components and custom parts for Jeeps, Toyotas, and other off-road vehicles.
What began as hands-on fabrication quickly created a need for greater control over quality, lead times, and component design.
Our first major step toward CNC manufacturing was adding a CNC plasma table to produce our own brackets and components. As our projects became more complex, we invested in our first CNC mill and began expanding from fabrication into precision machining.
Since then, we have continued to invest in equipment, tooling, processes, and knowledge. What started as a small fabrication operation has grown into a manufacturing business capable of taking on increasingly complex machining and fabrication work while maintaining the practical, problem-solving approach that started it all.
Why We Do It
We built Rawx around a simple idea: make good parts, solve real problems, and become a supplier our customers can depend on.
Our approach combines modern CNC technology with practical manufacturing experience. We continually improve our equipment, processes, and capabilities so we can take on more challenging work while maintaining the accuracy, consistency, and efficiency our customers expect.
Whether we are producing a one-off prototype, supporting repeat production, fabricating an assembly, or helping turn an idea into a manufacturable part, our goal is the same—deliver quality work and build long-term relationships with the people and businesses we serve.
